The registration process requires a connection to the Internet

When attempting to register or renew WINForms® Desktop, the following error occurs:
This error is caused by one of the following:
1. You are not connected to the Internet.
2. You have a firewall installed on your computer that is blocking the process.
Please Note:
The Microsoft® Windows® Firewall does
NOT affect our software. While registering or renewing WINForms® Desktop,
registration.exe will attempt to access information on our servers. If your firewall prompts you,
Permit or
Allow should be selected. Selecting
Block will result in this error.
Follow the steps below:
Step 1:
You will need to determine which firewall you have installed on your computer. Check the system tray in the bottom right corner of the screen next to the time:
Step 2:
Once you determine which firewall you use, you may select it from the menu below for detailed instructions on allowing WINForms® Desktop access to the Internet.
Select the firewall you use from the list:
