Changing company information in WINFormsŪ Desktop

How to change your company information in WINFormsŪ Desktop.
Follow the steps below:
Step 1:
Close out of the WINFormsŪ Desktop program.
Step 2:
Go to
www.winforms.com.
Step 3:
Click on the
Change Company Info link.
(On the right side of the screen under
Support).
Step 4:
Enter your Redemption Code and Last Name.
Please Note:
If you do not know your Redemption Code
Click Here.
Then click on the
Verify button.
Step 5:
Make the changes that you need.
Please Note:
You cannot change the
Agent Name here.

Then click on the
Continue button.
Step 6:
Click on the
Update Now button.
Step 7:
A
File Download dialog box will now appear.
Click on the
Run button.
Step 8:
A
Security Warning dialog box will appear.
Click on the
Run button again.
Step 9:
If the WINFormsŪ Desktop program is open, please close it.
Otherwise click on the
OK button.
Step 10:
The
Welcome dialog box will now appear.
Click on the
Next button.
Step 11:
The
Start Upgrade dialog box will now appear.
Click on the
Next button.
Step 12:
The
Release Notes dialog box will now appear.
Click on the
Next button.
Step 13:
The
Completed dialog box will now appear.
Click on the
Next button.
Step 14:
The
Software Registration window will now appear.
Please enter your Redemption Code in the box provided.
Please Note:
If you do not know your Redemption Code
Click Here.
Then click on the
Next button.
Please Note:
If you have a firewall installed on your computer, click on
Allow or
Permit when prompted.
Clicking
Block will result in an error that reads:
"
The registration process requires a connection to the Internet."
If you are receiving this error, please refer to Knowledge Base article
KBA-01043.
Otherwise, continue with Step 15.
Step 15:
The installation will now attempt to register the program.
Click on the
OK button.
Finished:
Your company information has now been updated.
Please Note:
The change will affect
NEW TRANSACTIONS ONLY.
Saved transactions/templates may still have the old information.
